About Gita
Gita is a Management Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), with strong expertise in business management and financial leadership for SMEs. She holds an MBA from the University of Queensland and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership through Mentoring and Coaching from Queensland University of Technology.
With over 35 years of experience — including 20 years as a business owner — Gita brings a mentoring-first approach to advisory. Her career has always blended financial capability with people development, helping business owners build clarity, confidence, and direction in their decision-making
Her mentoring and advisory work spans Asia, Africa, and Australia, supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, and leaders facing growth, change, or operational challenges. She has served as a mentor in both government and global programs, including the Queensland Government’s Mentoring for Growth initiative and the UK-based Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. Through these roles, she has helped founders gain confidence, improve financial literacy, and navigate key transitions.
In her advisory work today, Gita continues to draw on her mentoring strengths. Her approach is calm, supportive, and practical — offering clear structure while creating a safe space for business owners to reflect and make informed decisions. Clients value her ability to “explain the numbers in plain English,” connect financial results with real-world activity, and guide them through challenges without overwhelm.

Rohan is a qualified Management Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). With a career spanning Asia, Africa, and Australia, Rohan brings a truly global perspective to business strategy and financial management.
Rohan has held senior positions in Big 4 accounting firms, government, utilities, and small businesses, gaining extensive expertise in navigating diverse business environments. Known for his sharp eye for process improvement, he believes that information is power and is dedicated to helping businesses make data-driven decisions that lead to success.

Our Story
Towards Growth was born out of a passion for supporting small business owners. Having run our own successful franchised business for nearly two decades, we know the challenges of entrepreneurship firsthand. We’ve worked with SMEs across Australia and overseas, guiding them to overcome obstacles, make informed decisions, and seize opportunities.
Time and again, we saw how business owners felt isolated, lacking a sounding board to turn to when making critical decisions. We aim to fill that gap, offering a reliable resource for guidance, problem-solving, and accountability.
